Cookie Policy
1. About this policy
This policy applies to the following websites:
The websites are operated by companies within Creative Group. The Creative Group Website Privacy Policy identifies the responsible legal entity and explains how personal information is used.
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used across the websites, what they do and how you can control them.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can help a website operate, remember choices and understand how it is used.
The websites also use technologies such as pixels, tags, scripts and browser storage. This policy refers to all of them as cookies unless a distinction is helpful.
3. How we use cookies
Strictly necessary
These technologies are needed to provide the websites or a feature you request, maintain security, process a form or remember your privacy choices. They cannot be switched off through our cookie controls where their use is necessary, although you can block them in your browser. Blocking them may prevent the relevant feature from working.
Analytics
With your consent, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how visitors find and use the websites and improve their content and performance. Analytics cookies are off unless and until you accept them.
Functional content
With your consent, the websites load interactive maps supplied by Mapbox. Mapbox receives technical information needed to display and operate the map. The interactive map remains unavailable, or a simple fallback is shown, until you allow functional cookies.
Marketing
With your consent, the LinkedIn Insight Tag helps us measure advertising, understand campaign performance and build audiences for relevant advertising. LinkedIn marketing technology is off unless and until you accept marketing cookies.
4. Cookies and technologies we use
The consent-preference name varies by website because each site uses its own domain, but it serves the same purpose. LinkedIn may set or read only a subset of the cookies listed below depending on factors such as whether you are signed in to LinkedIn and LinkedIn's configuration.
| Cookie or technology | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cookie-consent preference cookie or browser-storage record | Relevant Creative Group website | Strictly necessary | Records whether optional categories were accepted or rejected so the website can respect your choice | Up to 6 months, or until you clear site data or the preference version changes |
_ga | Analytics | Distinguishes browser instances for website measurement | Up to 2 years; browser limits may shorten this | |
_ga_ followed by a property-specific identifier | Analytics | Maintains session state for the relevant GA4 property | Up to 2 years; browser limits may shorten this | |
| Mapbox GL JS, map APIs, map tiles, session requests and service telemetry | Mapbox | Functional content | Loads and operates interactive maps and helps Mapbox provide, secure and measure its service | Requests occur while the map is used; Mapbox generally retains IP addresses for 30 days |
bcookie, bscookie | Marketing | Browser identification, security, diagnostics and advertising measurement connected with LinkedIn services | Up to 1 year | |
JSESSIONID, lang | Marketing | Security, request validation and language settings connected with LinkedIn services | Browser session | |
lidc | Marketing | Helps LinkedIn select the appropriate data centre | Up to 24 hours | |
| LinkedIn advertising and analytics cookies | Marketing | Advertising measurement, identifier matching, analytics and conversion reporting | Up to 30 days |
These cookies can include UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory, lms_ads, lms_analytics and li_fat_id.
Google's description of its GA4 cookies is available in its GA4 cookie documentation. Mapbox's processing is described in Mapbox's privacy information. LinkedIn's cookies used on third-party websites are listed in its cookie table.
5. Google Analytics 4
The listed websites use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand visits, traffic sources and interactions in aggregate. We do not use GA4 reports to identify visitors by name, but GA4 identifiers and usage information may still be personal information.
The Google tag does not load and no analytics request is sent before you accept analytics cookies. If you decline or later withdraw consent, the website stops subsequent GA4 loading and collection. Google may still retain information collected while your consent was active in accordance with its own retention rules and our Privacy Policy.
6. LinkedIn Insight Tag
The listed websites use the LinkedIn Insight Tag for campaign reporting, conversion measurement, aggregated audience insights and relevant advertising audiences. The tag may send LinkedIn the page URL, referring URL, IP address, browser and device characteristics, timestamp and information about selected website actions.
The tag and any fallback pixel do not load before you accept marketing cookies. We receive aggregated reports rather than information that directly identifies individual LinkedIn members. LinkedIn controls the precise subset of its cookies used with the service and may update them over time.
7. Mapbox
When you allow functional cookies, the websites can load interactive maps supplied by Mapbox. Your browser then connects to Mapbox, which may receive your IP address, browser and device information, the map or page requested and service telemetry needed to provide and secure the map. We do not request your device's precise location unless a website clearly asks for it and you choose to allow it. A static address or first-party fallback remains available without loading the interactive map.
8. Website forms and email signup
Some Creative Group website enquiry forms use Formspree. Some listed websites also provide newsletter or email-update signup through Mailchimp. These services receive information when you choose to submit the relevant form, as explained in the Creative Group Website Privacy Policy. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing; newsletter signup is a separate action. Mailchimp may use security and anti-abuse technology when processing a signup; more information is available in Mailchimp's cookie statement.
9. Your choices
When you first visit a listed website, its cookie controls let you accept all optional cookies, reject all optional cookies or choose by category. Optional technologies remain off until you give the relevant consent.
You can review or change your choice at any time through Cookie Settings or Cookie Preferences in the website footer. Withdrawing consent prevents subsequent use of the affected technologies but does not undo processing that occurred before withdrawal. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser, although blocking all cookies may affect website features.
You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or manage your LinkedIn advertising settings.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the websites, technologies used or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised version and update the date above, and request a new choice where required. Questions can be sent to the relevant company listed in the Creative Group Website Privacy Policy. If you are unsure which company to contact, use Privacy, Creative Group — Squirrel Works, 51 Regent Parade, Birmingham, B1 3NS. Email: info@thecreative-group.com. Telephone: +44 (0)121 400 0407.
